Thanks for stopping by to view my past & present projects. I am self taught in all aspects of wood working & finishing. I grew up in the antique business & restored furniture for years, from which I learned construction techniques of master furniture builders. I opened my own shop in 1978 restoring antiques, & by 1983 moved into custom furniture & architectural specialties (entry doors, interior doors, staircases, wainscoting, paneled rooms), everything from cabinetry to fine woodworking. I use my inventory of 20+ year old mahogany & other fine woods collected since I began, & use the same finishes found on choice antiques. I now specialize in Queen Anne & Chippendale furnishings. All pieces feature custom carved details, all hand carved with my collection of 18th & 19th century Sheffield & American chisels & other hand tools purchased off Ebay & from local estate sales.
